"thousands of colors for the kids of the Abruzzo"

The other day I went wandering in the blog to poke into that of Luigi and I found really wonderful initiative, make coperine for children in early childhood Abruzzo, and when I read what it was I sent an email to Robert Sperandio oranizzatrice the e. .. I can also make me the cover! I'm really happy.
Copying the initiative as presented in the blog of Luigi and Cristina so if you do not already know you can turn it and make a little thought ...

Anche se mi mettessi d' impegno e cucissi ten or twenty quilts, would not be a drop in the ocean right now, but if we can do a lot to do really differenza.Ne I talked with my husband Vincent my friend and adviser of more than thirty years and has encouraged me to pursue the project that I called
"Bringing color to the kids of the Abruzzo.
For whom? For preschool children (if I come by your generosity will extend underground donation to children of 6-7 years). How are they for? As much as possible. Where and how? We will seek to understand these details later when things are clearer, but it will be reliable and dependable vehicles with them and communicate.
Who can help?
All individual quilters, all groups and associations patchwork feel the desire to help in this project bigger than me.I shops who know me may notify the project to their customers quilters, fabric donate at their discretion to make quilts points of the convoy and be manufactured.
In addition to disseminating the project to people I know personally, any ladies that they are known and if he feels, may also be disclosed to others, we know that word of mouth among us is the vehicle faster and safer.
The project will be presented to my contacts in Europe and the United States, I have received nods of sympathy from friends quilters to which we have demonstrated our in occasione dell' undici settembre.
Even if the panels can be pre-comfortable, simple shapes such as squares, rectangles, or strips, and other log cabin blocks are preferred because they are not flat, but provide visual and tactile dimension, things like that to children.
I am sure that your imagination and good heart will suggest what to do.
To close the quilt can be used the "binding" or traditional final finishing even machine stitched to close the quilt, but this can also be sewn bag on three sides and closed by hand or machine on the remaining and tied with cotton Perl, you're free to do what is most comfortable.
Each quilt will have to bring a label sewn on the back made to your taste on the words you want and the name and last name, city where you live, the year 2009.
We quilters have generally purchased fabrics available for whatever project the future and now maybe it's time to use one hand, but he was unable to purchase them and wanted to provide her hands and her sewing machine to make one or more quilts, let me know.
I encourage everyone to work to the best of their abilities and to produce one or more quilts and colorful caldi.Mio husband Vincent and I personally delivered the quilts to their future children proprietari.La delivery date is June 15, but first come first served is. Who wants to do can
